If Antonio Brown will comprise in their Week two game against Miami, the New England Patriots are yet to choose.
Brown is understood to be available for Sunday’s match at Foxborough but has had three practice sessions since joining New England and leaving the Oakland Raiders.
Asked if Brown may play on Sunday, coach Bill Belichick said:»We are discovering that.
«I am not gonna flip out a copy of the game plan. We will do what we think is ideal for the group.»
Brown arrived at Massachusetts on Monday in search of a new start following a trail of follies with the Raiders that comprised a bizarre foot accident, a dispute with the NFL over his helmet, missed practices, multiple fines plus also a run-in with Oakland general manager Mike Mayock.
Brown is currently trying to acclimate himself to the very regimented environment from the NFL.
The wide receiver has been largely insulated off the field by the group. Since linking New England, the four-time All-Pro has to address reporters.
Brown has been seen on the practice area. Whenever reporters have access to this space the stall for his locker was closed.
He’s been trying to learn a new playbook and strategy and earn the confidence of quarterback Tom Brady.
Belichick said there is no way to gauge the length of time it takes a player to get comfy at the system of New England.
